8. What is your process for getting a site ...

1.  Your target audience today is Internet-savvy.
People from 18 years old to families with 18-year-old children, happens to be the group with the highest Internet usage. According to research by the U.S. government, teenagers and families with children at home are the most frequent Internet users of any demographic group. Using the Internet to communicate with families and young adults is a natural fit.

2.  Your Web site will be your "first impression" for many people.
Most people under the age of 40 grew up with technology, and they automatically go to the Internet for information.

3.  If you're not on the Web, you don't exist to many people.
As a corollary to the previous item, people who use the Internet as their primary research tool will not know you exist if you don't have a Web site. A 20- or 30-something person is much more likely to use the Internet to find business information than to look in the yellow pages or newspaper. Various informal surveys have shown that many young college graduates don't even have yellow pages in their homes. Your teenage daughter may not even know theaters listed movie times in the newspaper – she will get them off the Web.

4.  Seekers will visit your Web site before contacting your business.
The Internet provides a perfect tool for people wanting information anonymously. For the business a seeker will look for relevant information, that will provide you with a pull-strategy for them to contact your business.

For church seekers who are not ready to "come to the building" will visit your Web site to see what you believe and why. Savvy organizations are using the Web to educate visitors and encourage them to take the next step. Online sermons and photos of services and events go a long way toward making a seeker feel secure enough to make a first-time visit.

5.  The Web site is too critical to be run by a volunteer.
I can tell you stories of churches from New York to California who were disappointed or burned by volunteers who built their Web sites. What happens if your volunteer Web developer gets transferred out of state or leaves the church angry?

For the business you want skilled workers doing your skilled work. Your accounting must be handled by someone who knows accounting, and not simply basic math. Just because some knows how to build a website does not ensure they know e-business.

6You can't afford a cheap site.
With a high percentage of your potential visitors viewing your Web site before they contact your business, you can't afford a poor quality site. All the time and money you have spent building your resources and reputation are worthless if people won't visit the first time.
For the business, the quality of your website can be an example of the quality of your work. For the church, visitors are judging the values and programs of your church from your Web site. Are your key programs properly represented? Can a Web visitor see how active your youth group is from your site?

Quality does not have to be expensive. We often confuse cheap with inexpensive, but they are two different terms.

7People are viewing your current Web site right now.
I can almost guarantee you that people are viewing your current site every month.   People moving into your city are researching various information before they move.

People interested in changing congregations are viewing your site. Seekers who have been made aware of your church are looking for more information on your site. You may not be providing the information, but people are looking for it.

Start asking your visitors how they found out about your church. You'll be surprised how many young families found you on the Internet. Good or bad, your Web site is generating impressions every week. The big question is – are you satisfied with the impression they are getting?

8. What is your process for getting a site
This will be the normal process we will conduct to fulfill our commitment with you.

Step one: The first step is to fill out the information within the packet (or Request one) and return it, as well as other needed items to the address listed above. In addition, before any work will commence we require $100.00 deposit with the order. The check must be made out to JPB Enterprises. This will not be cashed until you have approved the final design work.

Step two: Once we receive your information packet along with the other items needed we will call and give you a complete estimate for the design phase. During the design phase, we may contact your contact person to answer any question we may have. The conclusion of this step is you approve the final design. We will post your website on our domain for your viewing and approval.

Step Three: After you approve the final work we will forward you a bill for the remaining balance of your account for design plus the appropriate website management services fee. Management Services Fee can be billed yearly or 50% down (NET 90) you will have that option with your invoice.

Step Four: Once we receive your balance due, we will secure the domain name and the hosting. Your hosting charges are included with the monthly management services fee. During this step, we will be in contact with your contact person for choosing the domain name, which best suites your organization. Capital lettering does not matter as a computer does not recognize a distinction, but rather it is easier to remember. We also, suggest that you use them for your printed material (i.e. business cards, brochures, programs, newsletter, and extra). Domain names are original and there can only be one of each, so your domain name is dependent to what is available on the market. Once we have secured the domain name, we will send you an official welcome packet. Domain names are free the first year and currently $15 for yearly renewal.
